"Wynonna Earp" 2x01: We're Back Bitches!!!
As an obsessed TV addict, I’ve been known to read a bit too much into my stories. Because of that, I’m going to be supplementing my Wynonna Earp recaps (which go up on StarryMag.com Friday afternoons before the new episode) with some comments and analysis of this amazing show.
Normally these will be a bit longer but this week has been a dumpster fire (I just finished burying a bunny in my yard) and I haven’t had time to do half of what I need to. Anyways here are some ramb
Supergirl's Mon-El Problem
During this week’s “SuperFlash” crossover Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Barry (Grant Gustin) were sent into a fever dream. In order to escape, they had to help Tommy and Millie, played by Mon-El (Chris Wood) and Iris (Candice Patton), tell their families, who happen to be mortal enemies, about their relationship. Kara takes Tommy to talk to his father who is pissed that he’s fallen for the daughter of his enemy. Kara jumps in to defend Tommy. Of course, he didn’t tell his father
Adulting 101
I'm going to go a little off script here and not write explicitly about TV. I get a lot of snark and mocking from friends because I spend the majority of my free time watching and analyzing TV. I've been told none, but honestly what the hell actually defines being an adult? How do you know
"Person of Interest": What's Reality? Thoughts and Theory on Season 5
My obsessive mind wouldn’t let me stop thinking about this season of Person of Interest, so I thought, rewatched, and discussed. These are my thoughts and views on season 5 thus far. It makes perfect sense for Root to die protecting Harold. It’s an almost poetic end to the person Root has grown into over the course of the show. She started out as Samantha Groves, a young girl who witnessed the horrors humans are capable of. She saw her best friend get kidnapped and when she t
"The 100" 3x07: Safe passage on your travels... May we meet again.
This weeks episode of The 100, "Thirteen", was game changing to say the least. The AI storyline finally collided with the Grounders and the Arkadians. I love where they’re going with the AI storyline now that we get this melding of worlds, but I really want to share my feelings on Lexa. I’ve seen tons of different reactions to the unfortunate death of Lexa. These ranged from joyful, hateful, neutral, and heartbroken. What’s bothered me is the hostility that’s been present. I’
